Our Summer Camp is an amazing ranch experience with exotic sanctuary. Your children will have the opportunity to experience the ranch with all the farm animals as well as exotic animals at our sanctuary.
From real chores that include feeding the animals, collecting eggs, grooming our animals, to crafts, learning about the animals, nature walks, learning farm skills, how to care for various animals and plenty of outdoor adventures Your child will love the hands on experience and activities we have planned. During the week the kids will choose their favorite exotic pet, research it’s care, create an enclosure for it then share a presentation with the other campers about their choice.

The children will be submerged into the animal kingdom as they experience live educational animals shows from our professional presenters and educators. Campers will learn about and safely interact with each species at camp. Presentation topics include native species, defense mechanisms, predator vs prey relationships, conservation and endangered species, evolution, and more!
In addition to the zoology and animal portion of the camp we will also spend time participating in adventure programming. Campers will partake in team building, crafts, games, challenges and more! This is now a true summer camp, creating authentic summer camp memories.
This summer camp program will pick your children out of the concrete jungle they live in and overwhelm them with the natural world around them. They will study hundreds of species learning facts about these creatures. This will definitely create a greater passion for wildlife in the life of your child.

Camp Participation Waiver
You will need to sign a waiver that you understand that with any type of physical activity there is a risk of injury (scratches, scrapes, broken bones, etc.). You waive Prairie Exotics from and against any and all claims, damages, action or causes of action for costs and expenses to personal property, personal injury, and mental or emotional trauma, to any who participate in the program.
Waiver Regarding the Handling of Live Animals
Due to the nature of live animals there is always a possibility that minor injuries occur while handling them (bites or scratches). We do our very best to minimize the likelihood of these occurring, but the risk is never zero. You’ll need to sign the waiver acknowledging these risks and waive Prairie Exotics from and against any and all claims, damages, action or causes of action for costs and expenses to personal property, personal injury and mental or emotional trauma, to any who participate in the program.
Drop Off & Pick Up
Drop Off 8am – 9am & Pick Up 4pm – 5pm. Guardians must sign campers in and out daily. Identification is required for pick-up and only authorized individuals may collect campers.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Camp registrations must be paid in full to secure your spot at camp.
All camp registration fees are subject to a full refund ‘no questions asked’ until July 1, 2025. All cancellations must be sent by email.
If written cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to start of the camp week, a refund (less the non-refundable $60 admin fee per child) will be provided.
No refunds will be provided once camp has started for any reason.
